Three WEABL games last week meant there was plenty of choice for a new Player of the Week.
In the end, the player who stood out the most was Nottingham’s Macy Cook after her high-class outing against Charnwood.
The Wildcats saw off their Northern conference rivals 77-70, a statement road victory, thanks to Cook’s team-high 27 points.
Hitting 8/21 from the floor and going an impressive 9/10 from the free throw line, Cook added 10 rebounds for a double-double plus five steals and two assists.
That gave her a 27 efficiency rating, and a +/- of seven, demonstrating her impact on close final score.
Nottingham head coach Kenrick Liburd said: “Leading by example, Macy showed the determination and quality that personifies who she is; finishing well and aggressively impacting on the defensive end.”
