Just two games took place this week in the WEABL to wrap things up for November.
The Sheffield College 60-52 The Manchester Mystics Academy
The only contest in the Northern Conference this week saw Sheffield grab their first win of the season against top-of-the-table Mystics.
The visitors were unbeaten going into the last game of November but were unable to handle Erica Egan (27pts) who delivered for her side, despite an impressive haul from former Player of the Week Isobel Robinson (22pts).
City of London Academy – Southwark 77-45 John Madejski Academy
JMA are still searching for their first win of the 2022/23 season after a heavy loss to table-toppers CoLA.
It was always going to be a big ask on the road as the hosts showed their strength, led by Esther Kursite (19pts).
Tyra Phelan (14pts) top-scored for JMA, while there were other notable performances from teammate Parfait Elia Ando (12pts) and CoLA’s Emily O’Connell (12pts).
